Making use of bulletin boards

Postby HGPDiva » Tue Jul 18, 2006 8:09 am

In my area, most of the laundromats and grocery stores have bulletin boards. Making up fliers and hanging them around are great ways to have free advertising. As well as leaving your catalogs in the laundromats.
I like to make tear off sheets on my fliers.....on the bottom I make a row of cuts that have my business contact info on them for them to tear off and get in touch with me.

Another way is to make up press releases for yourself. Send them to as many newspapers as you can. If they get published, you get free advertising. I just googled the words making press releases and came up with many sites that offer you suggestions on how to do this effectively.

Lastly, make sure that everyone you come in contact with gets some information about your business from you.

I personally prefer to leave a minimum of six 1/6 of a sheet fliers on each board so that people can feel free to take the fliers with them. I go to my list of boards once every two weeks.
