vender fairs

What the best way to find local craft/vender fairs. I have thought of calling all the local churches. But I tend to make things harder than they need to be. any ideas. I'm not sure I want to pay for a craft site. but maybe I should.

I use craftlister.org and eventlister.org.
I love doing craft fairs...I'd love to hook up with a couple of you across the US and do joint fairs....let me know if you are interested.
