I have a gourmet food line business and think Avon might be a good complementary business...are there any restrictions on having 2 noncompeting lines? I would appreciate any info on Avon or companies like it - sales quota, any meetings to attend, start-up costs, etc...
You can email me (
al.gourmet@hotmail.com) or post here.
thanks, Audrey

I do not know for the 2 you are with - but when it is not allowed is usually for two "like" companies- ie - two food, two home decor
I Rep for a Food and a Bath & Body and there is no problems with them. Actually Rep for 4 Biz and so far so good on all !
Hopefully someone with your 2 can fill you in on the particulars
Best of Luck in ALL you do!

I rep for a kitchen company and for a bath & body company and both compliment one another nicely and neither interfere with the other.
I find that it works out nicely for me.
I don't know about the restrictions for Avon etc.

I just had a potential rep ask me the same question today about our company. Our company is fine with it too, as long as it isn't the same type of product. Like I couldn't sell Pink Papaya and Avon, but if I was a gourmet food rep or home decor rep, I could rep for both!
