I am thinking about starting a party hosting business with a new product. My question is how do you make money? It seems like you hook up with a company like a candle company and they give you a % of what ever you sell. It seems like you would need to sell a lot in order to make some decent money. I don't expect to become a millionaire but I was hoping to make some good extra money. I was thinking of hooking up with a company and having them offer me 20% off of all of their products. Then at the party I would offer people a 10% discount and keep the 10% as a profit. Does this make sense? Does anybody have a better way of doing this?
