Advice re: being a rep for two companies?

I am currently a rep with Sensaria Natural Bodycare, where we hold at home spa parties. I am thinking about becoming a rep with Usborne books as well. I love the Sensaria products... I also just ordered some Usborne books from a rep and love them too. I thought it would be a good compliment, since Usborne books are mainly for kids and Sensaria is more for adults. How do you balance both companies? How do you prevent people from feeling you are always hounding them to buy? Any advice?

I have never done 2 at a time,but I have seen this ? come up a few times.
Don't promote both at home shows(unless that was what the show was).
You do have decide which one will get more attention.Usborne could be more of a book show,and fundraiser thing for you-schools would love that!
If you decide to have a open house for yourself you could mix the both in(as a total retreat)

I haven't worked for 2 at the same time, but I've talked to people who have. If you want to do both as hobbies, then I'd say go for it. Or if you want to get the products at discounts, but if you want to work either/both as a business, I'd probably suggest focusing on one. It's hard to be successful at either if your focus isn't solely on one. Don't spread yourself too thin.

I am with 4 at the moment - and since I advertise this, people usually tell me what they are interested in - around here folks dont really have time for many parties - so I get alot of book parties or single orders
I work ALOT of craft shows, fairs and festivals - selling stock, gettting orders and with TW, getting alot of warrenty/replacements for folks who did not know how to get ahold of a TW rep -
I don't have big requirements for most of my Biz, so this makes it easier when not having parties, but sometimes I will do a party with one and use items from another - some can compliment each other pretty well

I'm only with one company. I am happy with the results of my success with Watkins. There are others that I know that have two biz's and they enjoy it. It really depends on you and how you want to work the two biz's.
