Mom Team, Stayin Home and Lovin It

I'm confused about The Mom Team and Stayin Home and Lovin It. I know they work for Melaleuca, so why can't they just say it? What's with all the secrecy? I would think if you have a great product and a great company you would want to publicize that instead of hiding it like it's a bad thing.

The ads almost come across as shady business opportunities to my friends and I because they say how you can make money but don't say exactly what you will be doing.

I know they aren't scams, but they sure do come across that way to many, many people. Why are they marketed in this way?

Also, why is Melaleuca so adamant about not being a MLM company, when indeed they are? The founder of my company got to know a lawyer who helped start Melaleuca, and he told her it was a MLM company!
