Booking Ideas!

I could use a jump start for my up comming fall season. Let's get some Booking ideas going!
I am having a drawing for all my August/September hostesses (to win a $25.00 gift certificate). Hopefully this will get people excited to book a party in these months. Any ideas out there or things that have worked for you?

How about local fairs/festivals....that is where I get most of my fall/holiday leads/bookings.

Tomorrow is national night out...is your communityor neighborhood having any get togethers? Put up a stand/display for your business.

Also, you can go back (if you have been with the company for over a year) to last years calendar and see who booked with you last fall. Call them and invite them to have party again. Also, make some customer service calls to past customers thanking them for thier business and which of your services could you be of assisstance to them.

Is your company putting our a new catalog for the fall/holiday season? Hostess your own New calalog preview party/drop in and invite everyone you know and get bookings from there.

Hang up flyers around your community on bulletin boards.....ie - grocery stores, laundromats to name 2.

Have a "Back To School" Theme Party at your home...If you need bookings, this is a great way to get back into the swing of things...The trick is to over-invite. Go beyond family and friends and reach neighbors, members of groups you belong to..Moms of kids friends and teachers etc. to extend outside the normal circle of friends...

How about doing a cooking class for local girl scouts or teaching how to set a table you could charge a set fee that would include some sampling of your products and give all the girls catalogs to take home.

Hosting a party at your own home or if some or your local pizza places or restaurants have little rooms that could accomodate you then you could host a gatthering their. You could send out invitations to past hostesses and other guests and promote it as a party for introducing the new products in the Fall/Winter catalog.
