My husband took today off & we all went to 6 Flags Darien Lake since they offered homeschoolers in the area 1/2 price tickets!!! We have never gone on vacation and with our family size we rarely do fun things like this.

We had an EXCELLENT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

Aside from acting like I am 20 years younger than what I actually am, it was a perfect day! :lol:

Ironically, I was the only one to get sunburn, but then again I was the only one who didn't apply sunscreen to herself, LOL. :shock:

That's awesome! I know trips can be expensive for larger families and that is so great that you were able to go for half-price!!

I'm so glad you had a great time, Angie! Amusement Parks can get really expensive but they are so much fun and I know your kids will never forget that day. They will always remember mom acting 20 years younger (that's awesome) and looking like a lobster. LOL That was really cool of the park to offer those half price tickets. As someone who was homeschooled from 4th grade through 12th I would have loved it if some of the parks here would have offered something like that!
