Baked Cheesey Rotini

3/4 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 c. cooked rotini, drained
1 (15 ounce) can chunky-style Italian tomato sauce
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 c. cubed processed American cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion; drain. Stir in rotini, tomato sauce, pepper, garlic salt and black pepper. Pour beef mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake, covered for 20 minutes or until sauce is bubbly.
