Cinnamon Apple Streusel Bars
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
3/4 c. brown sugar, divided
3/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 apples (peeled, cored and chopped)
Glaze
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9" baking pan. Combine flour, cracker crumbs, 1/2 c. brown sugar, melted butter, granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl until blended. Reserve 1 cup of crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into the bottom of baking pan. Bake 8 minutes, remove from oven and set aside.
Toss remaining 1/4 c. brown sugar with apples in medium sized bowl until sugar is dissolved, spoon apples over baked crust. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup of crumb mixture over filling. Bake 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove pan to wire rack to cool completely before cutting into bars. Drizzle with glaze.
Glaze Recipe
Combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tbsp. milk in small bowl until well blended.
