Coconut Cream Cheese Cookies
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. butter
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
2 c. flour
1/2 c. toasted flaked coconut
Combine first 7 ingredients together in a large bowl. Beat until well blended. Beat in egg and milk and blend again. Add flour and coconut, mix well. Drop onto a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 15-17 mins or until done.
