Pecan Brittle made in the Microwave
1 c. sugar
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. white syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Put ingredients in glass dish. Cook for 4 minutes, then stir it. Cook for another 3 minutes. Take out. Add 1 teaspoon butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cook for 1 minute. Take out and add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Stir. Pour into buttered tin foil. Let set up, crack in pieces. Store in an air tight container.
