Step out of my comfort zone
Posted: Mon Feb 13, 2006 12:59 amI am so excited. I step WAY out of my comfort zone a few weeks ago and attended a local chamber mixer.
I left with 6 contacts and over the next week, I set up 2 appointments. One was with an alarm company who wanted to have some customer appreciation gifts made up and the other was a non profit day care center.
I met with both of them on Wednesday and the alarm company loved what I had to offer and we set up an account. The day care loved the fundraiser and will be presenting it at the next board meeting.
I'm ready to make more calls! I was so nervous, but I did it and look what happend. YIPEE for me.
