hey.....can anyone help me??
My grandma used to get this stack of cards in the mail, (i think from avon) and each card had a different product on it, for instance a mini alarm clock, a barbie doll, a wallet, things of this nature i guess.
well, the thing was...the card had up to 20 or so lines with numbers by them, you would sell a chance to win the prize and the buyer would print their name on one of the lines. after all the lines were filled you would need to scratch off the winner number thingie to reveal wich number is the winner, the person who signed by that number is the winner. you send the card back in the mail with the money and u and the winner both recieve the prize. u could pick out of the bunch of cards wich one u wanted to use... My grandma passed away a few years back and these cards were a memory that stands out in my mind, we used to sell them togeather at bowling alleys when i was young.. i have looked EVERYWHERE but cant find them nor remember what they were called or from what companey thay came.. does anyone remember these?? any suggestions?? please help been looking for these mail order card things for a few years now.....thanx

I have never heard of anything like that , but maybe someone who creates scratcher cards could make up something like that for whatever items you are wanting to sell the chances for - sounds interesting
Hope you can find them

You could try

asking at your local Newspaper office- where you would be able to have the cards made up. The only place that I can think of at the moment would Vistaprint.com right off hand. Otherwise I would do a Google or Yahoo search & see what you can find that way. Best of luck.

Charlie, I remember those cards so well. To be honest with you, I don't think they make them any more. I have not seen them in YEARS! What a cool idea it was though. Nice to see someone else that remembers them :)
