Does anyone else love this product?
I am finding that I am really using it alot these days and I have enjoyed playing with it and making some tasty things. I love demo'ing this item at my parties and found that once I got experience using it and started really showing it at my parties, my customers then purchase it.
I made up a booklet of recipes that I also give to my party guests and all of the recipes pertain to this product.
I ask all of my party guests if they work outside their home? Are they pressed for time in the evenings to make homecooked meals? blah blah blah...you get the point.
I think its nice to get orders for them since they are a higher end priced item plus its not a one time use thing! Once they learn how to use it, see what they can make in it and that MOST meals can be done in less then 30 minutes using their microwave, I find I get several orders for them.
Anyone else focusing on this Tupperware product?
At my last home party, this is the recipe we made in it:
Portabello Mushroom Pizzas
Makes 6-8 servings.
2 cups water
1 pkg. portabello mushroom caps (6 oz. cleaned)
10 layers fresh basil leaves (chopped)
1 layer garlic clove (crushed & diced)
1 tsp. olive oil
8 ounces mozzarella cheese (shredded, divided)
1 tomato (thinly sliced)
Place water in Base of Oval Microwave Cooker; place shallow colander on top of base. Place mushrooms in shallow colander, rounded caps down toward slits. Combine chopped basil leaves, diced garlic, and olive oil; brush mixture onto undersides of mushroom caps. Cover and microwave on high (100%) for 5-7 minutes, until mushrooms begin to cook. Remove from microwave and uncover. Layer each cap with cheese and a tomato slice; top with cheese. Cover and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted and mushrooms are hot. Remove from microwave & serve.
